We collect your full name and coupon number when you register on our platform. Immediately after your registration on the platform, Burlington Education Limited stores solely and only your name indicated and the first three letters of your last name. Your data is stored and processed in order for the teacher to be able to evaluate your progress after solving the exercises provided through the platform. We also collect your email address so that you can reset your password in case you forget it.

We do not collect any sensitive personal data.

  1. Where do we obtain your information from?

We collect your personal data upon your registration on the platform. When purchasing our books, you find a code. You enter this code in our platform, with your full name, in order to have access to our electronic platform, to find additional educational material and to solve further exercises.

We do not obtain any information about you from other sources or third parties, nor do we sell your information to anyone.

  1. How do we use (process) your information?

We use your personal data in order for you to register on our platform, obtain additional educational material and exercises and in order for your teacher to further evaluate your progress. We collect your email address so that you can reset your password if you forget it. In this case, we send you a link to create a new password and get back into your account. We do not use your email address to send you any marketing and/or other promotional material such as samples, information about books and competitions, name-day cards etc.

  1. What is our legal basis for processing?

The processing of your information is necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests, namely in order to provide you with additional educational material so that you may improve your learning and education through the evaluation of your progress by the teacher, who will be able to evaluate your level of education, understand your needs and provide you with personalized educational advice.

This processing is carried out taking into account and provided that your rights, interests and freedoms are not significantly affected by our interests.

  1. How long do we store your information?

We store your information for as long as necessary for your active connection to our platform and then we delete it securely.

  1. What safeguards have we taken to protect your information?

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. To help protect the privacy of your information, we maintain physical, technical and administrative safeguards. We update and test our security technology on an ongoing basis. We restrict access to your information to those employees who need to know that information to provide benefits or services to you.
